Sterlingport Global Ltd is a family business that started in Sri Lanka and is now headquartered in the United Kingdom. More than two decades of silica quartz, kaolin and feldspar exports sit behind it. State-enterprise work, founder-led ventures, and operations-director roles, all run by the same family. The UK entity is run by the next generation. We do one thing. We source, screen, document and ship high-purity industrial minerals to spec.

We are not a flip-the-cargo broker. We are an operator with the supplier networks, the laboratory discipline, and the trade documentation Asian and Gulf buyers expect.

Origin-verified sourcing

Long-standing supplier relationships in Sri Lanka, Madagascar, South Africa, West Africa and Nigeria. Built up over many years, personally held, not introduced.

Independent lab analysis

Certificate of Analysis from accredited third-party labs on every cargo: purity, particle size, trace elements. We sell against an enforceable spec, not a description.

Documentation handled properly

COA, PSI, LC, FOB / CIF, phytosanitary, BL. The paperwork on which Asian and Gulf buyers extend credit and accept first shipments.

Trading at this grade is a relationship business. The supplier and buyer networks behind Sterlingport were built personally over more than 24 years and are not replicable through capital alone.

A mineral-sector specialist with over 24 years in silica quartz mining, processing and exports. Career: Senior Director at a Sri Lankan state-owned heavy-mineral sands enterprise (c. 2000); Founder & MD of a private quartz mining company with long-running Korean exports (c. 2002); Director of Operations at an industrial-mineral processing enterprise exporting quartz, kaolin and feldspar to Japan and Korea (2013–present); Strategic Advisor on multi-origin trading with Africa sourcing and Saudi Arabian projects (2020+). Mr. Kamil personally carries the supplier and buyer networks behind Sterlingport, together with the trade-documentation expertise (COA, LC, FOB/CIF, BL) on which first-cargo acceptance depends.
